Welcome to the new website for the Ridgecrest California Geocachers Club, formerly rcgeo.com. We have a completely new look and layout with lots more information to help geocachers both locally and those travelling from around the world.
Ridgecrest California Geocachers Club (RCGEO) is an open club for local geocachers and families who like to meet other geocachers, attend geocaching events, become a club volunteer and promote geocaching.
Club meetings/events are held monthly on the first Monday of the month at Ephen Tacos starting at 6:30pm and are a great place to learn more about geocaching and to keep informed on local laws and regulations. Our events are open to the public in fact, the more the merrier! We always have fun talking about our latest adventures, recommend series, plan events, have a great time and EAT (if you want, not required!). We also discover or swap trackables, share pros and cons of different GPS units, talk about an unusual cache container or unique geocaching experiences. Hang out with all those people whose names you see on logs. We can't wait to see you and/or meet you!
Ridgecrest, California is home to the Food, Trona, Rails to Trails, and the Presidential Power Trail Series! Our beautiful desert also hosts the Spaded, Signal, Geo Symbol, Gridlocked and Dice geo-art! In 2014 Ridgecrest was rated as one of the Top 5 Geocaching Destinations in the World by a popular Geocaching magazine.
